To meet these requirements, purified water systems used in food and beverage production typically consist of several treatment stages, including pre-filtration, softening, activated carbon filtration, reverse osmosis (RO), and ultraviolet (UV) sterilization or ozone disinfection. High-quality stainless steel (SS304 or SS316L) construction is preferred to ensure hygiene and durability. The entire purification process is often managed by a PLC-controlled system with automatic monitoring of flow rate, pressure, pH, and conductivity to ensure stable and safe output water quality.
